About the Charter
The Swindon and Wiltshire Employability Charter is a commitment across the Swindon & Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership (SWLEP) area to supporting the employability of our young people and the future workforce. The Charter aims to provide a recognised standard of engagement, drawing together the good work being done across the LEP area.
Businesses and schools sign up to the Charter and pledge to engage with each other to embed the vital employability skills required from the future workforce.
Businesses can offer this through various ways eg. assisting with a career days or mock interviews, offering an internship or work experience placement or taking on an apprentice.
Schools can engage with businesses in various ways eg. running career days, mock interviews, role model visits, industry days etc.
