Wiltshire College has achieved a top quality mark for its university level courses in a new excellence measure published today.

In the first set of Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) ratings the College, which offers a range of higher education courses from Film and Cinematography to Motorsport Engineering, was one of few Further Education colleges across the country to submit an entry for a TEF rating.

Only 106 further education colleges out of over 300 have achieved a rating in this first application round.

Amanda Burnside, Principal and Chief Executive at Wiltshire College, said: “We are delighted to have achieved Bronze status for our higher education teaching and to be one of very few colleges in the region to have achieved the TEF mark which provides national recognition and quality assurance of our higher level courses.”
