Wiltshire Council have formally submitted an outline planning application for the redevelopment of the East Wing site, opposite County Hall, and have outlined our vision for the site. The plans include a new health facility, leisure, residential, retail and food/beverage opportunities.

Wiltshire Council cabinet member for economic regeneration, Chuck Berry, said “Redeveloping this site has always been one of our top priorities as we think it has huge potential, particularly given the additional growth we’ve seen in this area of the town in recent years…”

For anyone wanting to see and comment on the planning application submitted, the reference number is 17/07693/OUT and can be found on the planning pages. The planning application consultation runs until 15 September.
