New employer initiative – support the employability of our future workforce

Swindon and Wiltshire are launching an initiative giving employers the opportunity to support local schools, those with significant barriers to work, offering apprenticeships, traineeships and supported internships. By signing the pledge you will be added to a directory of businesses and other organisations who pledge to work together.

Being part of Get Involved means your business can support the residents of Swindon and Wiltshire and inspire a future workforce, as well as assisting local projects such as the Enterprise Adviser Network and Building Bridges.

When you sign up to the initiative, a member of Wiltshire Council’s Employment and Skills service or Swindon Borough Council’s Routes to Employment service (depending on business locality) will be in contact to discuss what support your business is interested in. We will then be in contact with you when opportunities arise that you have registered an interest in, and we will also contact you from time to time to see how things are going.

For more information and to pledge visit our website.
