Royal Wootton Bassett Apprenticeship Fair Success

Royal Wootton Bassett Apprenticeship Fair Success

Our Employment and Skills Officer Rachel Johnson opened the apprenticeship fair on Wednesday 4th October working with The Enterprise Network (TEN) and the Alexa Davies – Community Engagement Manager who organised the event.

She opened with a great all round presentation explaining what an apprenticeship is, what students should do if there interested in undertaking one, how training providers are involved and what employers need to do to get on board. Rachael was joined by colleagues from the Employment and Skills service; Mandy Timbrell – Higher Futures Manager and Catherine Brooks –  Employer Liaison Assistant. The event gave the team a chance to meet employers and students – prospective, those who are undertaking and those who have successfully completed their apprenticeships.

If you were unable to make the event or are interested in apprenticeships don’t hesitate to get in contact with Rachael – Rachael.johnson@wiltshire.gov.uk who will be happy to assist you with more information. For more general information visit our dedicated apprenticeship page on the Work Wiltshire website.
