The Melksham Area Board met on the 18th October to receive an update on campus plans for the town.

John Thomson, Wiltshire Council deputy leader and cabinet member for campuses, attended the meeting alongside the council’s director for communities, Laurie Bell, to talk through the next phase of the campus project.

The Melksham campus project has seen almost £10 million of investment so far, including the state-of-the-art Oakfields rugby and football facilities, the Fifth Skate Park in King George V Playing Fields, the Market Place re-generation which is due for completion by the end of the month, and a new cricket and tennis pavilion on the Meksham House site.
