At Wiltshire Council we are always looking for new talent and we are keen to support people to grow and develop through training and skills development.

We currently have a vacancy for a Level 3 Apprentice OD Assistant within our Organisational Development Delivery team.

Our OD delivery team sit within Resourcing and are responsible for ensuring our staff receive high quality and appropriate training and development

About the role

You will be providing support to the team by handling internal and external enquiries by phone and email regarding learning, development and training requirements, along with booking venues and meeting rooms. You will process varied information and maintain databases, websites and social media.

Supporting the Apprenticeship and Training Co-ordinator, you will organise and maintain records of apprenticeships, levy funding as well providing general clerical and administrative support.

About you

Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to work flexibly within OD delivery and across the wider Resourcing team.

You will have the ability and experience of working in a pressurised environment, be able to prioritise own workload accordingly and meet tight deadlines.

You will need a GCSE/NVQ level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths at Grade C or above or be willing to work towards a Level 1/2 in English, Maths and ICT in functional skills. The apprenticeship program takes 12-18 months to complete and will be supported with on the job training and time spent out of work completing assignments.
