Customers of Wessex Water will no doubt have seen the latest customer magazine which regularly features their fantastic apprenticeships and early careers programmes. The latest winter edition shares how despite the pandemic Wessex Water have recruited and welcomed another apprenticeship intake and have plans to open their recruitment window ready for next September shortly.
Wessex Water are also supporting the Government’s Plan for Jobs by offering a number of Kickstart Placements to support young people who are claiming Universal Credit gain value work experience and access to the employment market.
Wessex Water are currently recruiting a higher level Test Analyst Apprentice at their Bath location. As a key part of this role, you’ll eventually be designing, writing and executing your own tests to prove the software applications are working correctly. To help keep track of where you are with your workload, you’ll be involved with project delivery meetings such as weekly progress, daily stand ups and defect review meetings. You’ll have regular input into these meetings by sharing information and insights on the work that you’re doing. In turn, you’ll develop confidence by engaging with your colleagues to obtain information, so you can proceed with what you need to do.
