DESCRIPTION:What’s this course about?    \nThis two-hour course focuses on developing a thorough budget which allows for regular and one-off expenses.  \nCourse format:    \nThis is an online course where you’ll learn together and take part in practical group activities\, all in a relaxed and friendly environment.    \nWho will benefit from attending?    \nThis course is for adults who would like to learn practical ways to reduce costs\, plan for the future and save money in their home.  \nWhat will I learn?   \n\nHow to sort spending into essential and non-essential expenditure.\nThe benefits of setting and following a budget.\nHow to create a budget which includes planning for regular and one-off expenditure.\n\nHow long is the course?    \nThe session is 2 hours long.  \nWill I be assessed?    \nYou will be required to complete some paperwork during this course. This will record and support your learning journey and successes.    \nFaCL courses are funded by the DfE. \nCourses are no cost to learners who meet our eligibility criteria. Learners must be aged 19+ on 31 August of the academic year\, have a Wiltshire postcode and meet certain residency requirements.
