DESCRIPTION:Boost Your Communication Skills \nWhat’s this course about?   \nThis course will help you to understand the importance of getting your message across to gain employment\, from writing clear and concise personal statements and detailed cover letters\, to creating the right impression at the interview.  \nCourse format:   \nThis is an online course where you’ll learn together and take part in practical group activities\, all in a relaxed and friendly environment.   \nWho will benefit from attending?   \nThis course is for adults who wish to improve their skills and become employment ready.  \nWhat will I learn?   \n\nDiscover how a well-structured application can help secure an interview \nUnderstand how to use power verbs to create persuasive text \nConsider skill gaps and other barriers to success \nDevelop strategies for effective job seeking online \n\nHow long is the course?   \nThis is run as a single 3.5-hour session\, with some activities to do at home to help you practise your skills.   \nWill I be assessed?   \nYou will be required to complete some paperwork during this course.
