This will be a five-week course, where learners will learn how to create a basic budget for their household, by categorising spending into essential and non-essential and budgeting for regular and one-off expenditure.  They will learn how to create balanced meal plans to save money and minimise food waste.  Learners will develop an understanding of healthy eating by planning a nutritionally balanced menu using a range of store cupboard essentials.  Learners will become more environmentally aware by exploring ways to save energy (and money) in the kitchen and home.
