The course is ideal for anyone who would like to refresh existing skills\, improve confidence with written English\, or prepare for further learning. Through practical activities and supportive teaching\, you will develop the skills needed to use English more confidently in everyday life. Who is this course for?This course is suitable for adults who would like to refresh their English skills or gain confidence using English in everyday situations. You may benefit from this course if you: Want to improve your reading and writing skillsNeed more confidence using English in daily lifeWould like support with forms and job applicationsWant to improve spelling and punctuationAre considering further learning or trainingWhat will I learn?During the course\, you will develop: Reading and decoding skillsReading for information and understandingNote-taking skillsSpelling strategies and techniquesSentence structure and grammarUnderstanding of nouns\, verbs\, adjectives and adverbsPunctuation skills and when to use different punctuation marksWriting skills for everyday life\, including messages\, emails and applicationsCourse FormatSessions are tutor-led and include a mixture of group activities\, discussion\, practical tasks and independent learning.
