DESCRIPTION:Location: Salisbury\n\nWhat’s this course about?  \n\nThis course supports you to communicate more confidently and improve your \n\nEnglish speaking\, listening\, reading\, and writing skills. On this course you will learn to  \n\nunderstand and use words and phrases for everyday conversation. You will practise  \n\nspeaking skills and discuss topics such as shopping\, transport\, family\, work\, wellbeing  \n\nand money.   \n\nCourse format:  \n\nYou will learn together in a group in a relaxed and friendly environment.  There are ten sessions of two hours. It will include full group teaching and independent activities.  There will be some activities to complete at home to help develop your knowledge or practice your skills.     \n\nWho will benefit from attending?  \n\nThis course will benefit anyone who would like to improve their English language skills.   \n\nWhat will I learn?  \n\n 	Practice speaking\, listening\, reading\, grammar and writing skills \n\n\n 	Discuss topics such as shopping\, transport\, family\, work\, wellbeing and    \n\n       money.   \n\n 	Careers Education\, Information\, Advice and Guidance for your next  \n\nsteps in life. \n\nHow long is the course?  \n\nThis is run as 2-hour face to face sessions over 10 weeks\, with some activities to do at home to help you practise your skills.  \n\nFaCL courses are funded by the DfE.\n\nCourses are no cost to learners who meet our eligibility criteria. Learners must be aged 19+ on 31 August of the academic year\, have a Wiltshire postcode and meet certain residency requirements. You must also be able to tick one of the following criteria:\n\n 	On a lower income (individual income less than £25\,750 a year)\n 	In receipt of benefits (other than child benefit)\n 	Not in work and looking to go into work\, now or in the future\n 	Care leaver\, refugee\, foster carer\, carer\, military family / ex-armed forces personnel\,\n 	Have a learning difficulty or disability\n 	Have school-aged children who receive means-tested free school meals\n 	Not in work and looking to go into work\, now or in the future\n\nIf you are unsure if you are eligible\, we are always happy to talk things through with you.\n\nTo book a place\, please give us a ring on 01225 770 478.\n\nPlease get in touch if you have any questions.
