DESCRIPTION:Enhance Your English – Writing \nWhat’s this course about?   \nOur Enhance Your English (EYE) courses will help you to develop the English skills you need for further study\, work or volunteering.  These courses are ideal preparation if you are thinking of studying Functional Skills English or GCSE English.  Your tutor will help you to work on your spelling\, punctuation\, grammar\, writing and reading in an informal and supportive online class\, and there will be learning activities to complete online too.  You will receive a certificate of achievement for each course that you complete.  \nIn EYE – Writing\, you will explore ways to enhance and develop your writing skills\, through a variety of methods\, and gain confidence with practical techniques to improve your writing skills.   \nCourse format:   \nThis is an online course where you’ll learn together and take part in practical group activities\, all in a relaxed and friendly environment.   \nWho will benefit from attending?   \nThis course will prepare learners for their next steps in further study (including Functional Skills English).    \nWhat will I learn?   \n\nHow and when to use formal and informal language \nHow to plan\, structure and write a formal letter \n\nHow long is the course?   \nThis is run as a single 2-hour session\, with some activities to do at home to help you practise your skills.
