What’s this course about? 

This course will help you develop awareness around managing stressful situations, building resilience, developing coping strategies and supporting children with their anxieties.  

Course format: 

This is an online course where you’ll learn together and take part in practical group activities, all in a relaxed and friendly environment.  

Who will benefit from attending?  

This course is for parents and carers who want to learn how they and their family can develop communication skills, problem solving skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to be more resilient in times of stress. 

What will I learn? 

  • Understand the links between physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.    
  • Develop your resilience skills in times of crises 
  • Learn techniques to improve mental wellbeing 

How long is the course? 

This is run as 2-hour sessions over 5 weekswith some activities to do at home to help you practise your skills.  

Will I be assessed? 

You will be required to complete some paperwork during this course. This will record and support your learning journey and successes.  

Entry Requirements: 

If you have 5 GCSEs grades A to C (5 O Levels) this course may not be suitable for you. Please contact us if you require further details; we’d love to hear from you.
