The session explores practical ways to support children at home\, helping them develop the skills needed to focus\, persevere and cope with everyday challenges. You will learn how a child’s environment\, experiences and the language used around them can influence their confidence\, concentration and resilience. Who is this course for?This course is for parents and carers who would like to support their child or children with developing concentration and resilience. What will I learn?By the end of the session\, you will: Explore the reasons why children may find concentrating or being resilient difficultDiscover practical ways to build children’s concentration and resilience at homeDevelop an awareness of how the environment may affect children’s concentrationBegin to understand how words and language can be used to develop children’s resilienceGain confidence in supporting your child’s learning and emotional wellbeingCourse FormatThis is an online course where you’ll learn alongside other parents and carers and take part in practical group activities in a relaxed and friendly environment. The session includes tutor-led learning\, discussion and practical strategies that can be used at home.
