DESCRIPTION:What’s this course about?   \n\nThe purpose of this course is to help you develop confidence in using and explaining scientific terms\, get creative as a family and develop a sense of awe and wonder to promote enthusiasm for learning.  \n\nCourse format:   \n\nThis is an online course where you will learn together and take part in practical group activities\, all in a relaxed and friendly environment.   \n\nWho will benefit from attending?   \n\nThis course is for parents and carers who want to support their child/children with their learning of science.  \n\nWhat will I learn?   \n\n 	Learn Scientific terms     \n\n\n 	Discover science experiments you can create using items you have in the home  \n\n\n 	Learn how to develop a sense of awe and wonder\, to promote enthusiasm for science  \n\nHow long is the course?   \n\nThis is run as a single 2-hour session\, with some activities to do at home to help you practise your skills.   \n\nWill I be assessed?   \n\nYou will be required to complete some paperwork during this course. This will record and support your learning journey and successes.   \n\nx1 session online.\n\nEntry Requirements:\n\nFamily and Community Learning courses are funded by the Education and Skills Funding Agency.
