DESCRIPTION:What’s this course about?    \nThe purpose of this course is to help you develop confidence in using and explaining scientific terms\, get creative as a family and develop a sense of awe and wonder to promote enthusiasm for learning.   \nCourse format:    \nThis is a face to face  course where you’ll learn together and take part in practical group activities\, all in a relaxed and friendly environment.    \nVenue: Willowbrook Primary School\nBroadcloth Lane\, Trowbridge\, BA14 7HE \nWho will benefit from attending?    \nThis course is for parents and carers who want to support their child/children with their learning of science.   \nWhat will I learn?    \n\nLearn Scientific terms     \nDiscover science experiments you can create using items you have in the home  \nLearn how to develop a sense of awe and wonder\, to promote enthusiasm for science  \n\nHow long is the course?    \nThis is run as a single 2-hour session\, with some activities to do at home to help you practise your skills.    \nWill I be assessed?    \nYou will be required to complete some paperwork during this course. This will record and support your learning journey and successes.    \nEntry Requirements: \nFamily and Community Learning courses are funded by the Education and Skills Funding Agency.
