“As a company we would highly recommend the help and support provided by Impress HR. We had a very delicate situation with a past employee, and even though we knew we had carried out all procedures correctly we really felt we needed a second opinion.
We contacted Impress HR through Wessex Chamber of Commerce, and from the very beginning everyone we dealt with was very helpful and knowledgeable.
We were extremely happy with the advice we received which echoed what we had already done, but also with the professional manner in which it was delivered. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Impress HR.”
“I attended the Impress HR event on Capability in the Workplace. I was there as a speaker in addition to the main part of the event. I was very impressed with the enthusiasm of the presenters and their ability to engage everyone who attended. They made a difficult subject much more approachable and fun.
I watched business owners getting great information from the presenters who clearly cared about their roles in helping business with HR issues. The areas covered are very relevant to small and large business and can be difficult to deal with without the right advice. I saw the delegates becoming more confident in how they can manage their employees, and really enjoying the experience.
I think it is a great resource that we have this service in our county. I would recommend this to all small businesses.”
“We had been considering getting an apprentice for some time but we were totally unsure of the process, how we could move forward and what funding we would be entitled to.
After emailing Catherine we had an immediate response, she and her colleague Cheryl came to see us within a week of the email and explained everything to us.
Not only have they made the process quick and easy they have designed for us a job description and job advert which has saved us valuable time.
A fantastic service that cannot be faulted – I can’t recommend highly enough.
“We were very exciting about the prospect of employing our 3rd full-time member of the development team here at OSX Ltd but were at a loss with regards to contracts, staff handbooks and procedure to ensure we complied with the very latest HR guidelines. Wessex Chamber [inspire] put us in touch with Catherine Brooks who made every effort to assist us in putting the correct policies and contractual obligations in place.
After our face-to-face meeting she supplied us with more than 15 templates, checklists, forms, timesheets, handbooks and contracts to ensure that we had a full set of up to date policies. We used these to make our recruiting processes run very smoothly and our employee is now approaching his 1st anniversary with us.
We’re very happy, thank-you Catherine”
“Thank you so much for the seminar yesterday. I found it invaluable and have already arranged a meeting in my workplace to implement some sound systems of recording absences and being more robust with actions to take. I have also been in touch with Jane with a view to her offering us some services, so all in all, a very good way to spend those 3 hours.”
