The NHS Finance Insights scheme offers paid, year-long work experience in NHS finance roles for people aged 18+ who aren’t planning to attend university and come from lower-income backgrounds.
To be eligible, applicants must:
✔️ Be at least 18 years old
✔️ Not plan to attend university
✔️ Come from a lower socio-economic background
This scheme helps bring diverse local talent into NHS finance careers. Participants will work in an entry-level finance role (Band 2), gaining valuable skills and hands-on experience. By the end of the placement, they’ll be ready to apply for NHS apprenticeships or other finance roles and feel confident in a professional workplace.
