In November 2024, the government published its Get Britain Working White Paper

The government asked local areas to develop and publish local plans which set out how the area will respond to these issues, show how the area is tackling the challenges, contributing to economic growth and achieving the wider Get Britain Working metrics

Working with partners across the Swindon and Wiltshire local authorities, the Department for Work and Pensions and the Integrated Care Board, the Get Swindon and Wiltshire Working Plan has been produced.
