After learning with us, you can move on to further study, qualifications, jobs and volunteering.
Family and Community Learning includes online and community-based courses designed to support adults to:
- Gain a new skill
- Reconnect with learning
- Progress to formal courses
- Support their children
What's On? Summer sessions July-August 2026
Looking for something positive this summer?
We’re offering a wide range of FREE learning sessions for Wiltshire residents this July and August – with something for everyone!
For parents and carers:
Build confidence in supporting your child with topics like wellbeing, resilience and communication – plus two online sessions where you can learn together.
For adults:
Take time for yourself with friendly sessions on:
- Wellbeing & confidence
- Healthy living & cooking
- Skills for work and future opportunities
Sessions are flexible, supportive and run locally or online – making it easy to fit learning around your summer.

Courses are free for eligible learners aged 19+ in Wiltshire, including those:
- On a low income or receiving benefits
- Looking to return to work
- With children receiving free school meals
- With caring responsibilities or additional support needs
Learners can self-refer, or be referred by a family member, professional, school or other organisation who offer support. If you’re unsure, the team is happy to help check eligibility.
