People looking for local employment or apprentice opportunities can drop by a special event in Melksham library next week.
The employment and skills team from Wiltshire Council is hosting the event which will include local employers, training providers and apprentices on Thursday 9 May from 12noon until 6pm.
Learning and support services such as Wiltshire Family and Community Learning and Wiltshire College and University Centre will be giving advice on jobs or career changes and how to access the right support and training.
Local employers including Co-Op Travel and Knorr-Bremse will be there to provide valuable insights into their industry and the skills and behaviors many employers look for when recruiting.
Employers will also share advice on how to produce a high-quality job application and the various recruitment processes used by employers.
Laura Mayes, cabinet member for education and skills said:
This event will have employers, apprentices and training providers all under one roof. It presents a great opportunity to prepare for your next career move whether that is an apprenticeship or a new work opportunity.
