Volunteer with Alzheimer’s Supports exercise group

Alzheimer’s Support is looking for friendly volunteers at its Movement for the Mind group on alternate Tuesdays 10am-12 noon at the Rotary Hall in Chippenham. The group offers gentle exercise to music in a supportive and friendly setting. Volunteers would be required to set up the chairs before people arrive, serve tea and coffee and encourage members to join in with the activities and enjoy them themselves. Alzheimer’s Support volunteers are a friendly team, who make a real difference and have fun at the same time.

Netwalking in Bradford on Avon

Escape the office & join us to walk, talk and network along the banks of the Kennet and Avon Canal for our first spring netwalk of 2020. It’s the perfect opportunity to make new connections, share ideas around different business ventures and draw inspiration from nature with the added bonus of getting some fresh air & gentle exercise.

This netwalk will take place on Tuesday 25th February 2020 in Bradford on Avon from 11am to 1pm. There will be a dedicated theme with a series of questions to encourage conversation between netwalkers and explore different aspects of your business ventures. Previous themes have included: Success, Belonging, Unforeseen Disruptions, The Social Media Maze and Feeding Yourself and Your Business. We’re always open to new ideas and would love to hear your suggestions for possible future themes. Full information here.
