Serco Skills Support for Redundancy

The Skills Support for Redundancy (SSR) programme is open to employed people that are ‘at risk’ of redundancy, or unemployed people that have been made redundant in the last three months.

The eligibility criteria for SSR is: 

  • You have not accessed SSW/SSR support previously (since 1st April 2019)
  • You are either employed and ‘at risk’ of redundancy, or unemployed due to being made redundant in the last three months.
  • You are eligible to work in the UK – evidence will be required
  • You are aged 16+ (no upper age restriction)
  • The training has to be delivered within the Swindon and Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership region* and by one of the contracted Training Providers

  • Customer Service
  • Employability Skills
  • Leadership/Management/HR/Team Leading/People
  • Retail Operations
  • Hospitality & Catering

  • Manufacturing
  • Engineering
  • Construction
  • Information, Advice & Guidance
