Citizens Advice

We are an independent charity committed to helping people successfully deal with life’s problems.

We provide the advice people need for the problems they face and improve the policies and practices that affect people’s lives.

We provide free, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities. We value diversity, promote equality and challenge discrimination.

Family and Community Learning

So many people find maths scary.  We aim to break down those barriers to learning to help you to realise that maths is not only relevant and useful but also fun! We offer two-hour introductory sessions Maths KS1 and KS2 and Terrific Times Tables.  You can then progress onto longer courses where you develop the skills to help your child with maths at primary school, and learn about the current ways of teaching maths (that might be very different to when you were at school). We also have a 10-week maths course for adults who want to work on their own maths skills called Manage Your Maths. Visit our site.

Chippenham Community Hub

Chippenham Community Hub has been working on many projects to help local people, which have ranged from the effect of those months of lockdown… to the war in Ukraine… and now a recession and fuel crisis which threatens to challenge even the most hardy of our local residents.

Alongside this there has been the need to establish a community group for those who are dealing with all aspects of Health and Wellbeing and a Town Team to help oversee the opening and development of our town centre.

Through Multiply, the hub will be putting on face to face numeracy courses to help build you confidence in everyday maths.

Wiltshire Wildlife Trust

Wiltshire Wildlife Trust is part of the UK Wildlife Trusts movement and was founded in 1962, driven by a concern to protect local wildlife and natural habitats.

Today, we manage over 40 nature reserves across Wiltshire and Swindon, including wetland, woodland, meadow and chalk downland habitats.

Programmes ran by Wiltshire Wildlife Trust will provide a chance to relax in nature and practice hands on practical ways such as wildlife ID and monitoring, tree planting, bird and bat box building, green woodworking, mindfulness in nature and journaling.
