Our Building Bridges team are really pulling out all the stops, not even Lockdown 2.0 can slow them down.

The Building Bridges programme supports people across Swindon and Wiltshire who are facing significant challenges in being able to develop their skills, access education or move towards the world of work. Taking part in the programme is entirely voluntary and all of their advice and support is offered free of charge.

The programme is a partnership of local organisations, including Wiltshire Council, who are experts at supporting people and giving them the skills and confidence they need to move forward. The Building Bridges  team work with people on a one-to-one basis to help them address the challenges and barriers they are facing and develop a personalised plan to help them achieve their goals at a pace they are comfortable with.

Here’s a message we received, thanking one of our Building Bridges colleagues for more great support (*all names have been changed):

I saw Maisie* last week and she is very happy. She said that college is ‘amazing’ and showed me photos of all her new friends.
Thank you so much for all your help getting Maisie back to college.
