Becky’s second instalment on her Kickstart journey –

During Week 5 of my Kickstart journey with Wiltshire Council I attended the Wiltshire Care Experienced Careers event at Salisbury Arts Centre. I found it very interesting as I have found another job role I might be interested in! Attending the event on my own meant I faced my fears as I have never been to a careers event on my own before.

I have also been doing different courses through Grow (internally) and Boost via Community and Family Learning. I have been continuing my shadowing with Cara in Devizes and Ashley with the Reablement team.

Helen and Lucinda in Community and Family Learning set me a task to help update a database on a excel, to support this work I have had some training on excel and Sharepoint.

I have continued to create posts for Catherine to post on Instagram searching for apprenticeships, traineeships and entry level jobs that are available in Wiltshire for young people.
