Walk and Talk for Wellbeing

Walk and Talk for Wellbeing is a practical and supportive course designed to help you improve your wellbeing and develop healthy lifestyle habits. Combining wellbeing, communication skills and gentle walking activities, the course will help you enhance your own health while supporting the wellbeing of your family members.
You will learn ways to improve your mental health, build confidence, develop communication skills and discover the benefits of regular physical activity through guided walks and group learning.
Who is this course for?
This course is for adults who would like to improve their wellbeing, build confidence and learn practical ways to lead a healthier lifestyle.

What will I learn?

- Demonstrate a range of effective communication skills
- Enjoy discovery walks in the local area
- Explore ways to improve mental health and wellbeing
- Develop confidence through group activities and discussions
- Understand how healthy lifestyle choices can benefit you and your family
Course Format
You will learn alongside others in a relaxed and friendly group environment.
Sessions include tutor-led learning, group discussions, discovery walks and independent activities. There will also be activities to complete at home to help develop your knowledge and practise your skills.
What support will I receive?
You will receive guidance and encouragement from an experienced tutor throughout the course. The course provides a welcoming and supportive environment where learners can share experiences, build confidence and learn from one another.
